CAUTION –
WET CONCRETE OR CEMENT CAN CAUSE
SERIOUS BURNS TO SKIN
Hand and Skin Protection:
Protective clothing should be worn when handling wet concrete or cement (in particular waterproof gloves and suitable footwear) to reduce the risk of contact with the skin in order to reduce the risk of irritation, dermatitis or burns.
Waterproof trousers and knee protectors may also be required if kneeling in wet concrete to ensure a good finish to the surface. Should wet concrete get inside boots, gloves or other protective clothing, the item should be immediately removed and the skin thoroughly washed. Affected clothing should also be washed before further use.
Eye Protection:
Wearing goggles or other eye protection will reduce the risk of wet concrete coming into contact with the eye.
On contact with the eye, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water. Medical advice may be required after contact with the eye.
